CCC Mural
I had the pleasure of painting a mural of author and poet Michael Rosen as part of the launch of No Place Like Home.
The mural was created for the library at Chesterton Community College during the February half-term. Working on a large scale, I used house paint and a mobile scaffold tower to transform the library wall.

I began the process by sketching Rosen repeatedly, studying his features and experimenting with different compositions before translating the drawings onto the wall. This preparatory work allowed me to become familiar with his face while developing a composition that would work within the scale and space of the library.
Below, you can see photographs from my sketchbook, documenting some of the drawings and ideas that informed the final mural.
