I offer one-to-one tutoring, group workshops, and teaching sessions that support creative development across fine art painting and drawing.

My approach is grounded in contemporary practice and pedagogy, with an emphasis on developing confidence, and an individual visual language.

Sessions are shaped around the needs of students, emerging artists, and those returning to practice, and can be adapted for educational institutions, community settings, or independent learners.

Experience & Approach

I hold an MA in Fine Art Painting from the University of the Arts London (UAL), completed with Distinction, and a PGCE from the University of Buckingham, also awarded with Distinction. I graduated with First-Class Honours in Fine Art Painting from the University of Brighton.

Alongside my teaching practice, I have exhibited widely across the UK and internationally and have undertaken artist residencies.

My painting practice combines figurative painting with large-scale mural work, often within educational, community, and institutional settings. These projects are frequently collaborative, involving other artists and participants in the development of shared visual outcomes.

I have been working as an art teacher in schools since 2019 and have worked across a range of learning environments, including care homes, where I have led creative workshops for residents living with Alzheimer’s and other forms of dementia. I have also taught within alternative education settings,  Whitemoor Prison, where I led the creation of a mural in the prison’s learning zone—an initiative that was featured on BBC News. I have also run workshops for SURGE III inculding, one with the British Heart Foundation and the other with ALK Positive. The results of the workshop can be seen collaged and layered together to create 'Waves Of Experience'.

This breadth of experience informs an approach to teaching that is responsive, inclusive, and grounded in both practical skill and reflective, concept-led discussion.
