These technical  detailed drawings accurately demonstrate my plan for unit 3.

I intend to explore and look at the women close to me. Painting women I know and admire from feminist history. I am considering the notion and taking the stance of a 'Fan of Feminism'. I will expand my pool of women via the archive, exploring women famous and forgotten. I will also continue to reach out further to other authors and artists, hoping to interview and record them. Moving forward with my painting practice, I am keen to keep exploring women I know in combination with women from history and from the archive. Using sound, egg tempera and watercolour to achieve this execution.

Regarding the October Research Festival, I would like to run a painting workshop at the Feminist Library. I would use archival material as source material from the library. I would photocopy imagery from the Feminist archive and use it as a prompt or starting point for the participants to collage or paint from. I would ask participants to create paintings using ink and coffee. These outcomes would be tonal and work well when responding to often black and white photos. I would give directions and teach different painting techniques. This would allow working directly with the archive, the community and teach exploring the narratives and women of the past.

I would then like to audio record the event. This would then also give me source material to create sound pieces.

I also intend to create a catalogue to go alongside these events. The catalogue will be a similar format to the book 'Talking to Women' by Nell Dunn. It will include my paintings alongside transactions from interviews and then with the women from the achieve and history. I will create my own interviews, using the power of auto-fiction to create an imagined re-creation of feminist discourse.
